Coldwaltham Bignor and Amberley

Due to train troubles Jo’s ride started from Horsham rather than Amberley and she had to rethink the route she had planned. However faultless research on her part led the intrepid 6 riders to a delectable tea spot at Southwater Country Park. Then it was on through lovely untrafficked country lanes to a superb pub at Warninglid where we lunched in the sunny garden under a tree.

Saturday in Essex with Ken

It’s Saturday and we have another of the occasional rides that happen on Saturday. Once again we have a good turnout, this time there are eight at Liverpool Street and more to come who are making their own way to the start. At Kelvedon we were joined by Kelvin Dane who had made his way from Romford and Roy Watson who had driven up from Sutton Valence but unfortunately Anne, his wife, was not feeling up to joining us on the road.
