According to a message relayed by Keith from the 40-Plus CC, they have had eight bikes stolen while they were lunching at a pub in Pleshey, Essex during a club run.
Security alert is in order, I feel. If you can’t see it, Lock it up well.

“I spoke to my brother last night and he told me that his cycling club went to a pub in Pleshey for lunch.
When they came out eight bikes had been stolen.
These bikes were not visible from the road, so some one must have seen them go in or followed them.
They also must have had a van to get eight bikes in.
They have heard of similar stories from other places in Essex.
They think that maybe they are getting runs lists from club web sites and then targeting them while they are at lunch, or maybe just following them.
They seem to know that club riders have expensive bikes.”
