We are offering a choice of two tours for Easter 2009. Both are graded "two star". The Devon tour is the more traditional type of tour, staying at Youth Hostels, while the Flanders tour will use small hotels or B&B's.

Devon:    Thu 9th – Mon 13th April

In the Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks. Meeting at Exeter Youth Hostel on Thursday 9th April, we will be staying at Okehampton YH on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th and Minehead YH on Sunday 12th, before returning by train from Taunton on Easter Monday. There is also an optional pre-tour ride lasting three days from London to Exeter and a post-tour ride from Taunton back to London (by a different route).

Initial bookings have now been made at the hostels. If you would like to take part you will need to book your own accommodation at the hostels – more information from Paul Lohr or John Aizlewood (020 8742 1626).

Flanders:    Wed 8th – Tue 14th April

This tour is now fully booked.

Travel by Eurostar to Lille and return from Brussels. Options include visiting WWI battlefields and the war museum inside the Lakenhallen at Ypres. Riding along the canals and into the historic centre of Bruges, and if time allows a visit to the Hoge Kempen national park.
