All Star Meet Up.  A slightly longer ride to take advantage of the daylight hours. We will cycle 25km from WGC to the Lilley Arms for a buffet lunch. Then 30km to Hatfield. Essex estuaries ride to St Peter's 7th century chapel.  Country lanes starting with a tea stop in Burnham on Crouch, where we'll look at the listed building Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.

Then we will ride out to Bradwell-on-Sea to visit St Peter's chapel, founded in 654AD.

Pub or picnic lunch in Bradwell. Returning through country lanes to Burnham from the west via the marina. About 1.5km off road at the end, can be done on tourers. Finish with a drink at the Anchor on the riverside time if time allows. Approx 50km.
 Meet Liverpool St 08.45 for 09.14 train to Wickford, change train for Burnham (Southminster train, need to be quick, tight connection), arrive 10.31. Leader meets you at Burnham.

* Easier and shorter rides – about 50km (30 miles) – which are ideal if you are new to cycle touring or prefer a more leisurely ride. Accompanied older children welcome although it is advisable to contact the ride leader beforehand. Please bring the recommended map(s).
** Medium distance 55-85km (35-55 miles) – steady pace yet time to enjoy lunch, etc.
*** Faster and generally longer 80-120km (50-75 miles) and often hilly – suitable for a light touring or road bike ...
**** Faster again, averaging 25kph and longer (100km+, 65 miles+), with a brief cafe stop for lunch. These rides are for experienced Audax or Sportive riders training for their next event, or for those who just like it hard – bring a light winter or summer road bike, be prepared to do your turn on the front and accept that you may get dropped if you can't keep up!
Off-road Mainly on rough tracks perhaps muddy – mountain bikes normally used.
